Scott Brock for State Senate District 11
It's Time for a Change

Military and Government

Scott has an extensive military resume including time in two branches. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps out of high school and went back into service with the US Army after the devastating events of 09/11. Not wanting to embellish, but he has always been at the tip of the spear. Receiving numerous awards and citations, including Presidential Unit Citation while in the Marine Corps, and his prized possession his Combat Infantryman Badge. That badge is reserved for a special few and rises above all other awards and accolades he has received. It speaks the loudest.  He has been awarded a distinguished pistol and rifle badge, making him one of the most experienced shooters in the military at the time. Scott has recieved the army Commendation medal x2, Meritorius Unit Citation, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal x2, Afghanistan campaign Medal, Global war on Terrorism Service Medal and others. Scott has deployed to all the usual hot spots while in uniform. He was honorably discharged from injuries sustained in combat.

Due to his military experience he was recruited while still on deployment to join Blackwater. Directly after finishing up his last combat tour, Scott moved into the contract world. This move took him to the most dangerous places on the planet. He contracted for multiple three letter agencies before ending up as a direct hire to the US State Department. There he would attend a federal law enforcement academy, and some of the best training schools in the world, and once again be put in harms way. As a Regional Security Officer with the Diplomatic Security Service his sole responsibility was hands on diplomatic protection in austere environments conducting expeditionary diplomacy. Scott has been on protective detail for two Presidents, and countless congressional delegates, senators, and ambassadors. Scott has over 7 years of deployment time in combat areas around the world.
